2025 Trade Deadline

At the halfway point… In the Western Conference

It’s time to see how the Division races are going after seven weeks.

Greylock Division

In the most competitive division in the league, the Fruit Loops and Jammers are tied for the lead with 5-2 records.  The Jammers have made recent trades to set his team up for a playoff run, but can Cousins lead them there, while the Fruit Loops need to win without the leagues current MVP, as QB Mahomes recovers from a knee injury.  A game back is the Silver Cats, who are the highest scoring team in the conference lead by the top defense, but can do they have enough at the skill position if QB Ryan misses time. The Gasmasters traded early to get the league’s top running back, but can he continue at this pace all season and is Dak really a top five quarterback to get them back into the race.

Hogback Division
The weakest division in the CVFL has a team, Bovine with a four-game losing streak actually tied for the lead with the lowest scoring team in the entire league.  The Greenbacks have somehow managed to win three games with QB Rogers scoring almost half of his total team points and has very little points on his roster after his kicker and defense. The third place Chudsters with two wins actually appear to be the strength of the division, but in all reality they all should start trading for extra picks next year like the Titans. They are truly the most interesting team in this division with their one win for the simple reason they realized early that a rebuild was needed and have already accumulated extra picks, including five in the first round and already are the team to beat next year!
